6 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward Dirk Nowitzki is set to make his 2018-19 season debut Thursday versus the Phoenix Suns. Despite the 40-year-old’s return to the rotation, Nowitzki will be operating with a minutes limit for the time being, which will severely hamper his fantasy productivity. If Nowitzki can return to last year’s level of play (12.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game), he may be worth a pick-up, but until he shows what he has left in the tank, there are likely less-risky options available.--Jesse Borek
