7 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Dirk Nowitzki had a performance to forget against the Denver Nuggets. Nowitzki played only 23 minutes, shooting 3-for-5 from the field, and missing his only shot attempt from deep for a total of six points in the loss. He was also quiet everywhere else for the most part, pulling down only four boards and nabbing away one steal to finish out the night. Fantasy owners will have to get used to his hot-and-cold consistency throughout the season, and though his best days are well behind him, he still will have his moments of efficient play to offset those weak performances. After a few days off, the Mavs will next head to Portland to meet up with a Trail Blazers team that is only allowing 25 points, 15 rebounds and 49 percent shooting to opposing centers per game this season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
