7 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) won't play against the Rockets on Sunday. It will be the first game he's missed this season. On Saturday night, Nowitzki led the Mavericks with 22 points in a win over the Lakers, so this may just be a precautionary issue with Dallas having to play in Houston on the second end of a back-to-back after playing at home in Dallas on Saturday. In Dirk's place, expect Dwight Powell to see an uptick in playing time. The newly-acquired Doug McDermott could play more as well.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
