Domantas Sabonis Has Near Triple-Double
5 years agoIndiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis accumulated 28 points, nine rebounds, eight assists, and one steal in 41 minutes of play during the 114-111 loss to the Celtics on Tuesday. The 23-year-old closely missed out on his fifth triple-double of the season, but his production is still sufficient enough for fantasy owners. The Gonzaga product continues to flex his dual-threat status as an efficient scorer and rebounder by averaging 18.3 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. You also can cut the 2016 pick some slack considering he had nine straight double-doubles before Tuesday's game. Sabonis nevertheless faces a Philly defense on Saturday that is ranked number one in defensive rebounds allowed per game, but that shouldn't stop him from producing his regular numbers considering he had 16 boards against them in their last matchup Jan. 13.
