Domantas Sabonis Posts Double-Double In Road Victory
6 years agoIndiana Pacers power forward Domantas Sabonis was good for 22 points, 15 rebounds and three assists across 32 minutes in Friday's 121-106 road victory against the New York Knicks. He ended up hitting 9-for-14 from the field while going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. The former standout from Gonzaga has posted 10 or more points in 17 consecutive games dating back to Dec. 4, emerging as a fantasy force in place of the injured Myles Turner (shoulder). He has been especially solid over the past eight outings, averaging 19.3 points and 10.0 rebounds. It was his first double-double in three games, but the 15 boards were his most since he snagged 16 back on Dec. 14.
