4 years agoIndiana Pacers forward Domantas Sabonis picked up his third straight double-double in a close loss to the Wizards on Monday. Sabonis poured in 35 points with 11 boards, six assists, two steals, and a triple in 37 minutes of action. The 24-year-old big man was very efficient, shooting 12-for-19 from the field. Sabonis has been a bit inconsistent since the All-Star break, though he seems to be heating up, with at least 20 points, 11 boards, and five assists on at least 50 percent shooting from the field in each of his last two games. Up next is a Wednesday matchup with a Heat team that seems to be going small at the power forward spot. Sabonis had some solid lines in two games against Miami earlier this year, though he struggled with his shot. Expect him to fare better offensively this time.--Tim Capurso
