Domantas Sabonis Returns to the Bench on Wednesday
7 years agoIndiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis returned to the bench in favor of center Myles Turner during Wednesday's win over the struggling Memphis Grizzlies. Sabonis played only 21 minutes but was productive despite his limited time on the floor, finishing the night with 10 points, seven boards, and two steals. After seeing a spike in his production while Turner was out battling an elbow injury, Sabonis saw game totals against Memphis that were comparable to his season averages of 12.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per outing. With Turner back in the mix and once again rolling with the starting unit, fantasy owners should expect this type of performance to be the norm moving forward, that is until he is called upon to fill in as a starter.
