Donovan Mitchell Out At Least One More Week
4 years agoUtah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (ankle) has been ruled out for another week of contests, giving him a very slim window to return if he is to play in a regular season game. The team made it clear that Mitchell has been progressing, so there remains optimism that he could return in time for the start of the postseason. With that said, there's very little incentive to rush him back to the court, which may spell the end of his redraft league appeal. Jordan Clarkson has become a must-own season-long commodity in any-sized league with Mitchell sidelined, while Joe Ingles has also skyrocketed in value. Aside from the May 16 outing against the Kings, it appears that Mitchell's next opportunity at suiting up will be Game 1 of the Western Conference first round.
