Donovan Mitchell Lands In Concussion Protocol, Out Wednesday
3 years agoUtah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (concussion) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. Houston after having been placed in the league's concussion protocol Tuesday. The blow in question reportedly happened just prior to halftime of the team's loss to the Lakers on Monday, although Mitchell finished the outing, albeit shooting 6-for-19 overall, including 0-for-8 from behind the arc. Mitchell's absence is likely to change the outlook of nearly everything offensively for Utah, with Joe Ingles the likeliest candidate to bump into the starting five. Bojan Bogdanovic and Mike Conley are set to take on larger offensive roles for as long as Mitchell remains in the protocol.
