6 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell struggled from downtown against Minnesota on Thursday, but he shot a solid 8-for-17 overall from the field on his way to a team-high 24 points. Mitchell, who was just 1-for-6 from deep, has now scored 20-plus points in 15 of the last 16 games. He ended up adding six assists and three rebounds to his line as well. In general, Mitchell has shot very well this month, sinking over 40 percent of his treys, so Thursday was likely just a small blip for him. He should be fine again on Saturday against the Nets. Brooklyn have a decent record against opposing shooting guards, but Mitchell went for 29 points against them in the first meeting of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
