Donovan Mitchell Pours In 34 Points In Victory Over Bulls
6 years agoUtah Jazz shooting guard/point guard Donovan Mitchell poured in 34 points on 11-for-24 from the field, 4-for-13 from beyond the arc, and 8-for-10 from the free throw line in Saturday's victory over the Bulls. The second-year pro added six rebounds, six assists, and two blocks. He scored 23 of his points in the second half with nine of his 11 fourth quarter tallies coming as the Jazz pulled away from the Bulls. The 22-year-old has really stepped up his scoring production recently, topping the 30-point mark in three straight games, and averaging 30.5 points, 5.6 assists, 4.4 rebounds, one block, and 1.2 steals while shooting 48.2 percent from the field as 47.5 percent from beyond the arc during this stretch. Mitchell and the Jazz will face the Pistons on Monday. The Louisville product compiled 26 points along with five rebounds and five assists against Detroit in the first meeting this season.
