Donovan Mitchell Prefers Deal To Heat, Knicks, Or Nets
2 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has reportedly expressed his desire to play for the Knicks, Heat, or Nets if he were to be traded. The Nets recently made amends with Kevin Durant, and with Ben Simmons unable to be on the same roster as Mitchell due to the designated rookie extension rule, a move to Brooklyn is unlikely. On the other hand, Miami doesn't have much to offer in terms of draft capital, so a deal with the Heat is also doubtful. The Knicks are still the frontrunners, although Utah has turned down multiple offers for the multi-time All-Star, including a recent proposal that would send Obi Toppin, Evan Fournier, and a plethora of first-round picks back. Nonetheless, with time winding down before the 2022-23 campaign commences, it's looking like Mitchell will at least begin the season with the Jazz. Still, it doesn't matter what team he's on because he's expected to remain a top fantasy producer.
