5 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell had a team-high 31 points on Saturday night in a 120-110 loss to the Houston Rockets. Mitchell went 12-for-24 from the field, but only 1-for-6 from behind the three-point line, and also added seven rebounds and three assists in his 36 minutes. It's the first time since Jan. 30 that the third-year shooting guard has surpassed the 30-point barrier and, after averaging at least 23.2 points per game each month, Mitchell has seen his average scoring dip to 21.8 per game in February. Mitchell will look to fix that with a couple of big games to end the month, starting on Monday when the Jazz take on the Phoenix Suns.--Euan Leith
