5 years agoUtah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell connected on eight of 12 from the floor to record his efficient 23 points in the 123-119 victory over the Mavericks on Monday. Mitchell also connected on three of six from downtown while grabbing four rebounds with two assists across 35 minutes of action. Mitchell has connected on 50% of his shots, just two times in his last seven games (including this one), so this efficient night was a positive for owners. He has not quite taken the extra step owners had hoped for this season, but he has been known to turn things up in the season's final stretch, so owners can hope for this, post-All-Star break.--Gianni Costantiello
