4 years agoUtah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell scuffled from the field during Monday's win over the Thunder, but he made the biggest shot of the night with under 10 seconds remaining to seal the victory for his squad. It's been a tremendously slow start to the year from the field for Mitchell, who is shooting 32.3 percent overall through his first three games. He went 2-for-10 from deep Monday, but added five assists and two rebounds to his stat line. While the field-goal percentage concerns are warranted, Mitchell has gone for at least 20 points in each of his first three games to open the year and remains entrenched as the team's No. 1 scoring option heading into Thursday's matchup versus the Suns. Mitchell scorched Phoenix for 38 points the last time that the two squads met last season.--Jesse Borek
