6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Doug Fister will have to improve on recent performances if he is to have success Sunday. The Los Angeles Angels have a primarily right-handed lineup and Fister has struggled when facing righties this season. Right-handed hitters have a .333 batting average and a .509 slugging percentage when facing Fister this season, compared to .208 and .318 respectively last season. In addition, Fister is 0-3 with a 5.10 ERA in his last five starts. These numbers make Fister a pitcher I would look to avoid Saturday in all formats.--Ben Rolfe
