7 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitch Doug Fister threw a 58-pitch bullpen session on Friday. He came threw it well and will now be evaluated, before probably heading for a couple of rehab outings. In his three starts, he has given up six earned runs in 13 2/3 innings with 13 strikeouts and five walks. In his last three years in the majors, Fister has consistently returned an ERA between four and five. In 2017, he had the best strikeout rate of his major league career, 8.27 per nine. If he can repeat that in 2018, he will be a must-own in 14-team mixed leagues.--Ben Rolfe
