3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small forwards Doug McDermott (knee) and Devin Vassell (quad) have been given the green light to get back into action for Thursday's contest against Portland. McDermott returns from a four-game absence, while Vassell is back in the mix after being down the past two games. Keita Bates-Diop started each of San Antonio's last four outings, but he is expected to revert to the second unit, which zaps him of nearly all his fantasy intrigue. McDermott has reached the 30-minute threshold just twice across 12 games, so his season-long appeal can be kept in check. Vassell has been wildly hit or miss as of late, having delivered scoring outputs of 19, two, 18, 17, and three over his last five games.--Jesse Borek
