4 years agoWith Indiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis scratched due to a back ailment, the duo of Doug McDermott and Jakarr Sampson stepped in to collect 24 points during Friday’s win over the Chicago Bulls. Sampson drew the start and made all four field goals that he attempted, finishing with eight points and five rebounds across his 20 minutes. But it was McDermott who was the more fantasy relevant of the two, dropping 16 points off the bench in just 22 minutes of action. He also added four rebounds and two assists, and figures to remain a focal point of the Indiana offense should Sabonis remain sidelined Monday against Philadelphia.--Jesse Borek
