3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small forward Doug McDermott (illness) has been ruled out for Friday's contest vs. the Jazz. McDermott has been a steady asset among the team's starting five this year, but he has not reached the 30-minute threshold since Dec. 12, significantly capping his fantasy appeal in DFS and season-long formats. McDermott's absence, alongside that of Joshua Primo (illness) and Romeo Langford (hamstring), paves the way for Josh Richardson and Lonnie Walker IV to see significant increases in usage. McDermott has knocked down a career-best 2.2 triples per outing this season, with his next opportunity to improve upon that mark coming Saturday against Indiana.--Jesse Borek
