3 years agoSan Antonio Spurs small/power forward Doug McDermott (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Suns due to right knee inflammation. McDermott previously missed three games earlier this year, opening the door for Devin Vassell and Lonnie Walker IV to take on elevated roles within the offense. On Monday, Keita Bates-Diop will shift into the starting five for his first start of the year, giving him DFS punt play appeal, despite averaging just 12.5 minutes per game this season. When healthy, McDermott remains a steady source of threes, knocking down 2.1 per contest, while shooting at a 43.8 percent clip.
