7 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Dragan Bender got the start once again for the injured Marquese Chriss (hip) but it didn't make a difference. Bender failed to score a single point in the 120-97 loss to Indiana, shooting a dreadful 0-for-7 from the field and an equally unimpressive 0-for-6 from deep. Though he pulled down five boards, this performance was a far cry from his previous two outings where he combined for 34 points against both OKC and Houston. Bender has some work to do, especially from the field, where he is shooting only 36 percent, as well as from from behind the arc, shooting only 37 percent. He can have some occasional solid performances, but as long as Chriss is healthy, Bender likely won't see the minutes required to make a significant impact.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
