5 years agoGolden State Warriors power forward/center Draymond Green had already been ruled out for Saturday’s game against Charlotte before the news came down that he would miss more time than that. Due to a torn ligament in his left index finger, Green is expected to miss the “next few games,” which will further hamper a Golden State unit that is having their depth severely tested early in the season. Without Green in the picture, Eric Paschall entered the starting five, although it remains unpredictable how Green’s absence will be reallocated within the Warriors’ offense. With four additionally games scheduled for Golden State over the next seven days, head coach Steve Kerr may opt to play it safe with his All-Star forward.--Jesse Borek
