2 years agoFree-agent forward/center Drew Eubanks will stay with the Trail Blazers on a one-year deal. After Jusuf Nurkic was lost for the remainder of last season due to injury, Eubanks filled in nicely by averaging 12.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists throughout 31 starts. Although Nurkic will continue to man the middle, the 25-year-old may be in line to receive consistent work in a support role off the bench. But considering Nurkic's inability to stay healthy, Eubanks should also get some minutes with the starting unit this season.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
