6 years agoTexas Rangers utility player Drew Robinson suffered a setback with his hip during recovery. Robinson has now not played in a week and will require more time on a rehab assignment before the Rangers can consider activating him. The left-handed hitter was hitting just .175 with one home run and one stolen base prior to his injury. With the Rangers trying to accommodate Adrian Beltre at designated hitter regularly, Robinson will have some value in deeper leagues when he returns. He should play semi-regularly all over the field, spelling guys and preventing people from playing out of position too often.--Ben Rolfe
