6 years agoCharlotte Hornets shooting guard/small forward Dwayne Bacon set a new career high in scoring for the second consecutive game during Tuesday’s win over the San Antonio Spurs. He saw his scoring total rise for the fourth straight contest since entering the starting lineup, shooting 9-for-16 from the floor overall, including 4-for-7 from deep, en route to a 24-point outing. Logging the second-highest minutes total on the team, he also pitched in six rebounds and a career-high three steals. Bacon’s production over the past three games make him worth the look over the season’s final few weeks, next set to face off with a Los Angeles Lakers squad Friday that has allowed a pile of fantasy points to opposing wing players this season.--Jesse Borek
