Dwight Howard Produces Seventh Straight Game With 15 or More Rebounds
7 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Dwight Howard grabbed 15 rebounds for the seventh straight game in a win over Atlanta on Friday. Howard said before the game he wanted to "kill" the Hawks, and while he did not literally or figuratively do such things, he has absolutely been killing it over the last seven games. During that time, Howard has averaged 16.7 points, 16.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocks. On Friday, along with his 15 boards, he added 18 points. He shot 4-for-7 and an impressive 10-for-14 from the free throw line. Howard also rejected a season-high seven blocks. The big man is playing with supreme confidence, looking like the All-NBA center from his days in Orlando. Howard will have a very intriguing showdown on Saturday against Hassan Whiteside and the Miami Heat. There's no reason to doubt Howard will continue his dominant play, even against a player of Whiteside's caliber.
