Dwight Powell Has A Rough Night Against Utah

6 years agoDallas Mavericks center Dwight Powell has looked solid for Dallas over the past couple of months, but he wasn't able to do much on Thursday against the Jazz and center Rudy Gobert. Powell played just 19 minutes and went 1-for-5 from the field, finishing with five points and three rebounds. Aside from a nine minute outing against the Knicks last week, Powell has been a productive player for Dallas, giving the team double-digit points and rebounds on a fairly consistent basis. Dallas plays Charlotte on Saturday, a team that hasn't been great against opposing centers lately, but the Hornets will have Dwight Howard back from suspension and fresh off of a 32 point, 30 rebound performance.
