7 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Dwight Powell made his first start of the season on Wednesday, finishing with seven points and seven rebounds in 28 minutes of action against the Phoenix Suns. The 26-year-old went 3-for-4 from the field and shot 1-for-3 from the line. Powell has been efficient in limited minutes this season, scoring 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18.7 minutes. He averaged 21 minutes in January, and could be looking at even more minutes with the Mavs out of the playoff race.
