6 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Dwight Powell secured his first double-double of 2018-19 during Wednesday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds across 24 minutes. The nature of the loss allowed for Powell to get some extra run, so owners shouldn’t be in a rush to snatch him off the wire just yet. He gets his minutes, but is still averaging just 9.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, so until he sees his time on the floor per contest (16.6) increase, he’s a deep league play only.--Jesse Borek
