6 years agoDallas Mavericks forward/center Dwight Powell (knee) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's preseason contest. Head coach Rick Carlisle said Powell is fine, but is sitting out in this one due to right knee soreness. This will be the second game this preseason that Powell has missed due to knee soreness. Powell is expected to play off the bench and back up DeAndre Jordan. He doesn't have much fantasy value off the bench.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
