6 years agoMiami Heat guard Dwyane Wade poured in a season-high 21 points over 25 minutes off the bench in Saturday night's loss to Charlotte. Wade made nine of 15 shots from the field and two of six three-pointers in the game, marking his first two triples of the season. The 36-year-old added three rebounds and three assists along with two blocks. While the game was his highest scoring effort, it was also his lowest rebound total -- the 15-year veteran compiled 19 caroms over the Heat's first two contests. Wade, who struggled shooting the ball in his first two games, has surprisingly collected eight offensive rebounds in the first three games, which is just three fewer than he did in 21 games with the Heat last season. Expect Wade to continue to have inconsistent games throughout the season as his minutes hover around 25 a game.--Daniel Benjamin
