6 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade scored 25 points on 8-for-21 shooting from the field and 5-for-10 from beyond the arc in Saturday's victory over the Clippers. He also had six rebounds, six assists and three turnovers in 32 minutes. His 1,000th career game was a nice bounce back contest from his two-point, 0-for-6 shooting performance on Friday. However, the 36-year-old did miss four of his season-high eight free throw attempts. The 16th-year vet, who is a career 76.6 percent foul shooter, is shooting just 66.7 percent from the charity stripe this season. Wade will look to reach double-figures for the eighth time in nine outings against the Lakers on Monday.--Daniel Benjamin
