Elfrid Payton Drops 25 Points In Second Game Back
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton caught fire from the floor during Wednesday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets, finishing with a season-high 25 points on 10-for-15 shooting. Payton also added seven assists and two rebounds, as he received 34 minutes and helped key an offense that is looking for additional scorers with Nikola Mirotic sidelined. It took all of two games in his return from a broken finger for Payton to reacclimate himself with fantasy owners who should now be eager to roster him in both DFS and season-long formats come Saturday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing point guards this season.
