7 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Elfrid Payton was superb Monday, notching 29 points, eight boards and five dimes on 11 of 18 shooting. He was the only Suns player to have it going the entire night, and it's safe to say he's enjoying life in a Suns uniform. He won't be this good when Devin Booker (hip) returns, but he'll also have a chance to improve his 6.3 assists per game running this fast-paced, up-tempo offense. Although the Suns have been terrible, they have plenty of young weapons on their roster for Payton to work with. Payton has been a steady option all year and has shown promise flirting with top-60 value over the past two weeks. He looks to be in for a massive finish to the year on the tanking Suns.--Dicky Fung
