5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton (ankle) will not play Tuesday night against the Houston Rockets. Payton must have picked up the sprain in their last contest as he was a late addition to the injury report. It's also possible Payton is being held out for trade talks with the news surrounding Anthony Davis, but that is just speculation. Without Payton, Jrue Holiday will likely man the point while Tim Frazier will get extended minutes off the bench as New Orleans has five players out Tuesday.--Dale Johnson - RotoBaller
