5 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton put together a good 15-6-5 line in Friday's loss to Phoenix despite arriving in town only a couple of hours before tip-off after his wife gave birth to a daughter. His struggles from the line continued with a 3-for-8 performance, but the former Sun shot a good 6-for-10 from the field. Payton's scoring form has been off all season, but he's done a solid job in other areas, averaging 6.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals as a starter. The next matchup looks ugly on paper for the Suns, but the Clippers are dealing with a number of injuries at the moment, and they will be far from their best on Sunday, as they also have a game the day before.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
