6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point guard Elfrid Payton is listed as probable to return to the floor for Monday’s showdown with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Payton has been out since Nov. 16 due to a broken finger, having played in just six contests so far this season. His return comes at a time when the Pelicans are caught in a malaise, having lost six of their last seven games. Even though he figures to be worked back into the rotation, Payton should be rostered in virtually all formats, which spells the end of the line for what value Tim Frazier had in the short-term.--Jesse Borek
