4 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (head) was removed in the second inning of Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Jimenez was injured in the first inning of the game, while he was chasing down what would be a Jake Cave grand slam. On the play, Jimenez hit his head on the outfield wall. He lied on his back on the warning track while he was looked at by a trainer, but he remained in the game. In the second inning, after fielding another ball in his direction gingerly, the trainer returned to look at Jimenez and he was lifted from the game. It doesn't seem like anything too serious for Jimenez, but make sure to stay tuned for further updates.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
