6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus had his best night since returning from the disabled list. Andrus registered three hits and scored a run against Boston on Wednesday, as he looks to break out of the slump he has been in. Prior to last night Andrus had just a .195 batting average with zero home runs and zero steals since his return from the DL. This was just his third multi-hit game in that span and the first time he has registered three hits in a single game. The expectation is that Andrus will break out of this slump however, the pre-season hopes of 20 stolen bases and 20 home runs appear to be a long way off.--Ben Rolfe
