6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus (elbow) could be activated from the disabled list next weekend during a three-game homestand with the Colorado Rockies. Andrus has been out since he was hit by a pitch April 13. The plan is for Andrus to head to either Double-A or Triple-A for a rehab assignment next Tuesday. Fantasy owners should expect Andrus to hit somewhere in the region of .300 with close to 10 home runs and 10 steals when he returns. Andrus should be an extremely valuable contributor for fantasy teams going forward this season and should remain stashed everywhere. It's likely that Jurickson Profar will return to more of a utility role when Andrus is back.--Ben Rolfe
