6 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus (elbow) will not be activated when he is first eligible next Tuesday. It is expected that Andrus will head out on a rehab assignment early next week, which should see him activated sometime in the next couple of weeks. Andrus was hitting well prior to his injury with two home runs and a .327 batting average in 61 plate appearances. Andrus will be a huge plus to fantasy teams when he returns and should provide top-10 fantasy value at the shortstop position the rest of the season.--Ben Rolfe
