7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans center Emeka Okafor is hopeful to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. It was reported Saturday morning that the Pelicans were finalizing a 10-day contract with Okafor. The Pelicans are in desperate need of depth up front with DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles) out for the reminder of the season. Okafor has not played an NBA game in four years.
