Enes Kanter Scores 24 Points, Plays Through The Pain
6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Enes Kanter (shoulder) showed his toughness as he played through his shoulder pain in the 121-113 loss to the Nuggets. Kanter showed obvious pain at moments as he scored 24 points on an efficient 11 of 14 shooting and added seven rebounds on the night. For him to take the court with his shoulder injury can only bring motivation to his teammates, and he stated after the game that he did not think much of his shoulder injury, but rather was just trying to slow down Nikola Jokic. We can assume he will muscle his way through Game 2 on Wednesday, receiving treatment on his shoulder on Tuesday.
