5 years agoWith Al Horford agreeing to a four-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Boston Celtics needed a new starting center. It appears they’ve found one, agreeing to a two-year deal with Enes Kanter. Kanter is a negative on the defensive end, but he’s still a good offensive center who put up 13.7 points and 9.8 rebounds per game between the Knicks and Trail Blazers last season. Even if he only plays 25 minutes per night and the Celtics give Daniel Theis more run, Kanter will be a valuable fantasy basketball commodity. In fact, he’s significantly more useful in fantasy than he is in the actual NBA, which could end up being a bad thing if Kanter’s defensive deficiencies lead to him losing out on the starting job at some point. For now, though, he’s worth a mid-round pick.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
