7 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon was insignificant during the Game 1 win over Minnesota on Sunday. Gordon was given ample time on the floor, but was unable to capitalize on his 30 minutes of play, finishing the night with only seven points on a rough 3-for-10 shooting from the field and an equally horrendous 1-for-7 shooting from behind the arc. Gordon played well against the Timberwolves during the regular season, averaging 16 points in addition to shooting a much healthier 47 percent from the field. With Gordon dealing with an ankle injury heading into the playoffs, he may have needed this game to shake off any residual rust. He will continue to get minutes moving forward as well as put up shots, but whether or not they will go in is the real story. Historically speaking, they will and he should still have plenty of DFS value on Wednesday night for Game 2.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
