6 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon scored 21 points on 7-for-14 shooting in 29 minutes of action against the Pelicans on Wednesday, adding in three rebounds and an assist as well. Though the Rockets officially listed Carmelo Anthony as the sixth man in the game notes, Gordon is still clearly Houston's best bench player and the only source of consistent scoring outside their starting lineup. He'll have another chance to put up buckets on Saturday against the Lakers, though all the offseason changes in L.A. make it hard to predict how teams will play against the LeBron James-led team.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
