6 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard Eric Gordon dropped 21 points across 27 minutes during Saturday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, but he left the contest late and will have an MRI on what is initially being termed a bruised right knee. The Rockets cannot afford more injuries to key players with Chris Paul already on the shelf, with Gordon himself having entered the starting lineup over the past handful of games. Gordon has been delivering high-quality fantasy performances sans Paul, but of course, all of that could be stunted by an injury that would sideline him. Houston’s next game comes Monday versus the Memphis Grizzlies, so keep an eye on Gordon’s status ahead of then.--Jesse Borek
