Eric Gordon Sets New Career High In Points Monday
6 years agoHouston Rockets guard Eric Gordon scored a career-high 36 points against the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Gordon finished 12-for-23 from the field, including 8-for-16 from three-point range, but added little else in 43 minutes. Gordon took advantage of his second-straight start with Chris Paul (leg) sitting out the past two games. These games have been much needed for Gordon who is shooting just 35.3 percent from the field and 28.9 percent from three this season. Paul's injury is not deemed serious, but if he is forced to miss more time, Gordon would be in line for another high usage, high scoring output.
