5 years agoHouston Rockets shooting guard/small forward Eric Gordon has been ruled out for Sunday’s game versus the Utah Jazz due to a leg contusion. Gordon’s last time facing the Jazz resulted in an epic career-high 50-point eruption, albeit that came without James Harden or Russell Westbrook available. Both will be back on the floor Sunday, with Robert Covington and Danuel House entering the starting five in place of Gordon, with both likely filling his role as a spot-up shooter around the perimeter. His next chance at getting back into action comes Tuesday against Boston.--Jesse Borek
